12.6 Incompetence and Incapacity.

If the Board determines that a Covered Individual is incompetent or incapacitated and no guardian has been appointed, or if a Covered Individual has not provided the Plan with an address at which he or she can be located for payment, the Plan may, during the lifetime of the Covered Individual, pay any amount otherwise payable to the Covered Individual to the Covered Individual's Spouse or blood relative or any other person determined by the Board to be equitably entitled thereto. In the event benefits are payable to a deceased Covered Individual, the Plan shall pay the benefits, in the priority stated with multiple members of each class sharing equally, to the Covered Individual's surviving Spouse, children, parents, siblings, then the Covered Individual's estate. Any payment in accordance with this provision shall discharge the obligation of the Plan hereunder to the extent of such payment.
